Membuat Kartunya

Siapkan kertas yang cukup tebal dan keras. Agar kartu pos Anda tidak rusak ketika dalam perjalanan, gunakan kertas yang cukup keras dan tebal layaknya kartu pos pada umumnya. Jika Anda takut kertas yang Anda gunakan terlalu tipis, Anda bisa membuatnya lebih tebal dengan menumpuk dan menempel beberapa kertas yang sama.
Kartu pos yang sesuai dengan standar yang berlaku di Indonesia memiliki ketebalan minimal 2 mm dan maksimal 2,5 mm, dengan berat minimal 1,5 gram dan maksimal 3 gram.[1]
Potong kertasnya menjadi sesuai ukuran yang berlaku. Ambil penggaris, ukur kartunya, lalu potong kartunya sesuai standar yang berlaku, yaitu minimal 90 x 140 mm dan maksimal 120 x 235 mm (dengan toleransi 2 mm). Hati-hati dalam memotong kartunya, karena sudut di kartu Anda harus membentuk sudut 90 derajat. Jika tidak, maka kartu pos tidak akan dikirimkan.
Gambar garis tengah di bagian belakang kartu pos. Setelah kertas yang Anda gunakan memiliki bentuk yang sesuai standar kartu pos, tarik garis tengah di bagian belakang kartu pos. Ruang di sisi kiri garis ini akan digunakan untuk menuliskan pesan serta alamat pengirim, sedangkan ruang di sebelah kanan akan digunakan untuk menulis alamat penerima.

Berdasarkan standar kartu pos di Indonesia, garis tengah Anda tidak boleh ditarik benar-benar dari tengah kartu. Anda harus menariknya dengan perbandingan 45:75.

Gambar garis alamat. Di bagian kanan dan kiri, tarik garis untuk tempat alamat penerima dan pengirim. Lalu gambar juga lima kotak kecil di masing-masing sisi kanan dan kiri untuk tempat kode pos.
Selain itu, jangan lupa menambahkan tulisan “Kartu Pos” pada bagian atas kartu, “Pengirim” di tempat alamat pengirim, dan “Penerima” di tempat alamat penerima.

Posisi kotak kode pos juga harus sesuai dengan standar yang berlaku. Untuk daftar lengkap dari standarisasi kartu pos di Indonesia, bisa Anda lihat di sini.

Menghias Bagian Depan Kartu Pos

Siapkan alat-alatnya. Sekarang saatnya Anda menggunakan kreativitas Anda. Kumpulkan alat serta benda-benda yang akan Anda gunakan untuk membuat kartu pos yang unik. Anda bisa langsung menggambar di kartu pos Anda. Tapi jangan membatasi diri hanya menggunakan pena dan pensil. Berikut beberapa benda yang bisa Anda gunakan untuk menghias kartu pos Anda:[2]
Potongan gambar dari koran dan/atau majalah
Foto
Kertas karton
Tinta
Cat
Pita
Pernak-pernik kecil
Glitter
Lem
Hias kartunya. Mulailah menghias kartunya sesuai keinginan Anda. Anda bisa membuat gambar sendiri dan menjadikannya seperti kartu pos kebanyakan, atau melakukan hal yang benar-benar berbeda. Berikut beberapa ide yang menarik:

Tempelkan sebuah foto, lalu hias sisa di bagian pinggirnya dengan kertas karton warna dan glitter.
Gambar sesuatu yang original yang relevan dengan pesan dan/atau teman Anda.
Gunting huruf dan kata dari majalah lalu buat kolase.
Gunakan pita untuk membuat hiasan bentuk anyaman.
Oleskan pelindung. Langkah ini akan membuat semua hiasan yang Anda letakkan di kartu pos Anda terlindungi dan tidak rusak, terutama jika Anda menghiasnya dengan benda-benda lain dan bukan hanya menggambar dengan pena atau pensil. Carilah cairan pelindung yang sesuai lalu gunakan kuas untuk menutupi permukaan kartu pos Anda dengan cairan tersebut, lalu tunggu kering selama beberapa jam.

Jangan mengoleskan bagian belakang kartu pos Anda, karena itu akan membuat Anda tidak bisa menulis di sana.

And the room design was so cool, I love it. After that we were went to the back garden. And we saw many stars in the night sky. Oh, that’s so beautiful! And so amazing! The light was so bright. I really love it and enjoy it.
